In a medium bowl combine the milk & apple cider vinegar, let it sit for 10 minute.

Now, add cornstarch, garlic, black pepper, black salt, and vegan parmesan. Whisk until everything is combined & the cornstarch is dissolved.

Heat a large, non-stick pan over medium heat.

Place one slice of bread into the milk mixture, for around 1 minute, flip and allow it to sit for 30 more seconds.

2Melt 1 tablespoon butter in the pan and place 2 slices of bread into the center of the pan. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.

Flip the French toast pieces and brown the other side for an additional 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining bread.
