Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) package dried corn husks

  • 3 cups corn masa flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon Chile Paste

  • 2¾ cups warm water

 

For the filling

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced

  • 2 medium serrano chile, finely diced

  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

  • 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

  • ½ cup chopped cilantro

  • 1 cup water

  • Salt
